What is Sea Moss

Sea Moss is a type of algae or seaweed. This sea plant is most notably known for its mineral rich properties. Considered the oceans superfood! Minerals like iodine, iron, and calcium are found in sea moss. The plant grows primarily between North America and Europe, the coast of the Atlantic, parts of the Caribbean, and the warmer parts of Asia, South America, and Africa. 

  What is Sea moss gel 




Sea moss gel is made for an easier daily consumption, it is your daily vitamin. Sea Moss and water are blended together to make sea moss gel. The consistency of the gel ranges between jello and applesauce depending on how much water is added. The gel is eaten by a spoonful once or twice a day: suggested daily use is 1 tbsp for children and 2 tbsp for adults. 




Types of sea moss

All sea moss have similar health benefits and properties. They each  offer unique features and benefits varying by color, smell, and texture. The plant produces different types and colors: Chondrus Crispus ( commonly known as Irish sea moss), Gracilaria (commonly known as Jamaican sea moss) and Eucheuma Cottonii (commonly known as guso).

Purple Sea Moss

Green Sea Moss 

Green sea moss is high in Chlorophyll  which provides skin support by reducing bacterial growth from wounds. Chlorophyll is an all natural body deodorizer and detoxifier. Green Sea Moss is also a rare find and must be dried in a dark room to preserve the benefits and color. The gel is green and has a slight ocean taste with a mild ocean smell.
